Sharing rooftop, champaign and rain (14.05.2016)
May in Ukraine is very unpredictable season. Rain, sun, clouds, heat, even snow won’t surprise citizens nowadays. First idea of where to make photo shooting with my model Oksana brought me to the river, warm sand shore, light, almost flying dress, sun rays. But in May you have to have back up plan in case of weather changes. Cannot say I quite had a back up variant as sometimes I am too optimistic about the plan. And thats how it happened. Instead of sun we met rain, instead of fluffy sand on the shore we had mud and rivers running along the streets.
Arranging brainstorming just one hour before our meeting by cellphone we found solution. It was rooftop of the 5* hotel partly under the cover. I have never been there so my first feeling was ‘oops’, but I decided to take that challenge eventually. Now one thing I know for sure. I will never ever hesitate to take such challenges. Simply because this photo shooting turned into amazing story with warm colours and romantic mood. Rain gave so much opportunities: wet hair, warm blanket, fascinating view from above and many other details which gave this story so much charm, good experience and warm memories.
